About EUCHIS 2023
EUCHIS is a biannual conference hosted by The European Chitin Society (www.euchis.org). The 2023 event will be held in the Fjallabyggð municipality in North Iceland, and marks the first in-person conference in the field since 2018. It will be a venue for the introduction of groundbreaking research and innovative applications.
The European Chitin Society has hosted the EUCHIS conferences since 1993, but this is the first time the conference will take place in Iceland. The setting is fitting - despite its humble appearance, Fjallabyggð is the centre of chitin and chitosan production and research in the country.
