Fjallabyggð is a small municipality, a stone’s throw from the Arctic circle. It has been a fast-growing tourist destination, building upon the growing reputation of Troll peninsula as a hub for adventure and outdoor activities. The town itself has roots in the herring fisheries era, and played a key role in the development of Iceland throughout the 20th century. It therefore has great historical and cultural significance.

Several quality hotels and B&Bs are operated in the municipality and are available for booking on this website. The entire community looks forward to welcoming EUCHIS 2023 participants.

Please register for the event here below. Accommodation is booked with registration. Check-in is on 11^th September and check-out is on the 14^th.

All prices are in Euros. Included in the registration fees are: admission to the EUCHIS conference, scheduled transportation between venues, lunches during the conference and conference gala dinner on September 13^th, as well as a social program. Please note that you will be redirected to the Sóti Summits DMC website to complete your registration. Students will be asked for proof of student status on registration.
